WELCOME TO LIMPOPO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
The Limpopo Economic Development Agency (LEDA) was established in terms of the LEDA Act 5 of 2016. The establishment of LEDA culminated in the amalgamation of four historical agencies, namely: Trade and Investment Limpopo (TIL), the Limpopo Business Support Agency (LIBSA), the Limpopo Agricultural Development Corporation (LADC) and the Limpopo Economic Development Enterprise (LimDev).
The evolution of business development in Limpopo Province has necessitated the paradigm-shift from Provincial Growth and Development Strategy to a more focused Employment, Growth and Development Plan which is the hallmark for creating economic and job opportunities through value chain economic activities in the traditional and new growth sectors of Limpopo Province. LEDA has Strategic programmes designed to achieve structural changes in critical areas of the Provincial economy.
